"Financial success isn't about perfection. It's about creating a system that's easy to come back to."

Financial coaching for adults with adhd

You don't need another budget. You need a money system that works for your brain.

If you have ADHD, chances are you've been told some version of:

"Just make a budget."

"Track every dollar."

"You just need more discipline."

You've probably tried.

Maybe more than once.

You start with the best intentions, but after a few weeks life gets busy, the budget gets forgotten, and you feel like you've failed...again.

You're not lazy. You're not bad with money. And you're certainly not alone.

It's probably not a knowledge problem.

One of the biggest surprises in my work is how much my clients already know about money.

They know they should save.

They know they should pay down debt.

They know they shouldn't impulse spend.

Knowledge isn't usually the problem.

The challenge is creating systems that are easy enough to follow when life is busy, emotions are high, or executive functioning is in short supply.

That's where coaching can make a real difference.

ADHD doesn't look the same for everyone.

One thing I've learned is that there isn't one "ADHD money problem."

Some people avoid opening their banking app because it feels overwhelming.

Some forget to pay bills.

Some overspend because they're chasing dopamine.

Some are excellent savers but avoid investing because making decisions feels impossible.

Others are highly organized financially but feel constant anxiety around money.

That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all financial advice.

Together, we'll discover what works for you.

Practical coaching that adapts to you.

We'll build simple financial systems that fit your life—not someone else's idea of what money management "should" look like.

Depending on your needs, that might include:

  • Simplifying your banking system.
  • Creating routines that are easier to maintain.
  • Automating as much as possible.
  • Breaking overwhelming financial tasks into manageable steps.
  • Finding ways to reduce decision fatigue.
  • Building accountability that feels encouraging rather than stressful.

And sometimes...

It means we simply get things done together.

Many people with ADHD find that body doubling—working alongside another person—makes difficult tasks feel much more manageable.

If you've been putting off opening your mail, organizing paperwork, calling your bank, reviewing your budget, or tackling another financial task that's been weighing on you, we can do it together during our session.

I've found body doubling helpful in my own life, too. Sometimes having another person there is all it takes to get started.

My approach is different.

I don't believe financial success comes from tracking every dollar or having perfect willpower.

Instead, I help clients create systems that reduce friction, work with their natural tendencies, and support the life they actually want to live.

My coaching combines practical financial guidance with an understanding that money is deeply connected to our emotions, habits, relationships, stress, and past experiences.

Many of my clients tell me this is the first time they've felt understood instead of judged.

What we might work on together

Every client is different, but common topics include:

  • Feeling overwhelmed by money.
  • Living paycheque to paycheque despite earning a good income.
  • Creating a spending plan that actually lasts.
  • Paying down debt without feeling deprived.
  • Organizing finances.
  • Navigating money as a couple.
  • Reducing financial anxiety.
  • Building savings.
  • Creating simple systems that are easier to stick with.

Imagine feeling...

  • Calm instead of avoiding your finances.
  • Confident making financial decisions.
  • Organized without having to track every transaction.
  • Able to spend intentionally without guilt.
  • Like your money is supporting the life you want instead of creating constant stress.

That change is possible.

Let's build a system that works for you.

You don't have to force yourself into someone else's budgeting method.

Together, we'll create a practical, sustainable approach to money that fits your brain, your values, and your life.

If you're curious whether we're a good fit, I'd love to meet you.
