A personalized financial plan meets nervous-system work in a supportive group experience

You earn enough that you should have something to show for it. But at the end of the month, there’s surprisingly little left to save, invest or put toward the things you really want. And after all this time, it’s hard not to wonder why you still haven’t figured it out.
When something matters to you, you learn what you need to learn and find a way forward. That’s part of how you became successful. But despite everything you know about money, you keep finding yourself back in the same place. And your frustration, doubt and worry seem to be growing.
You have enough income to create a great life, but on the inside, you’re stressed and worried that you’re not doing financial adulting well enough. The feeling there is something you should be doing differently or better is familiar and getting heavier. Instead, you want to enjoy and celebrate what you’ve built, feel confident about the choices you’re making, and see your money moving toward what matters to you.
In our group program, FINANCIAL NERVOUS SYSTEM REFRESH, we acknoledge that budgeting doesn't work. A budget can tell you what to do, but your nervous system influences whether you can actually do it. That’s why this program addresses money like humans: we create a practical system, work with the feelings and patterns that arise as you put it into practice, and help new habits become easier to maintain. Of course budgeting and nervous-system work go together!
Researchers call it the intention–behaviour gap: knowing what you intend to do doesn’t mean you’ll consistently do it.
Financial information alone doesn’t always lead to financial change. You can know exactly what you intend to do and still feel pulled to do something different.
“If you know what you are doing, you can do what you want.” — Moshe Feldenkrais
Christine and Isabel created Financial Nervous System Refresh to address that gap: bringing together a clear, workable financial plan with nervous-system work that helps you recognize and change the habitual patterns influencing what you actually do.

The state of our finances is shaped, in large part, by the financial habits we repeat every day. What if there were an effective—and sustainable—way to change those habits?
Lasting financial change isn’t just about the numbers. Financial Nervous System Refresh brings financial planning and nervous-system work together to help you change the habits driving your financial life.
First, you’ll work with Christine to get clear about your finances without judgement or pressure. She’ll listen closely to what matters to you and create a cash flow plan around your actual life—your income, expenses, priorities, goals and the things you want to enjoy. You’ll leave with greater clarity about where you stand and the reassurance of knowing you have a plan that was made especially for you.
A financial plan gives you clarity about what you want to do with your money. But knowing what to do doesn’t necessarily change what you actually do. That’s because your financial habits aren't just the sum total of your thoughts. They also contain your fears and joys, beliefs and life history—and are encoded in your nervous system.

That’s where movement comes in.
A financial habit is a behaviour—and behaviour involves movement. Reaching for your credit card, avoiding your banking app, making an impulse purchase or putting off a financial conversation may look like single actions, but each is made up of a cascade of smaller movements and responses that have become automatic over time.
Your nervous system organizes and controls those movements. So if we want to work with habitual behaviour, we can go back to the nervous system that organizes it.
In Financial Nervous System Refresh, we do that through movement. By introducing small, novel movements, we give the nervous system new information. That helps it recognize the movements that make up an old habit—and discover other possibilities.
Financial planning and nervous-system work belong together when you want change that lasts. A plan gives you clarity and direction. Nervous-system work helps you change the habits and behaviours that determine how you actually use your money. Together, you’re working with both what you want to do and what you actually do—creating the conditions for deeper, more sustainable financial change.

Humans are wired to be more accountable to others than we are to ourselves. The group holds you to a higher standard—not through pressure or shame, but by helping you keep showing up for the changes you want to make.
Someone else may ask the question you were hesitant to ask—or describe an experience that helps you recognize something in yourself. You benefit not only from the support you receive, but from what you discover by listening to others.
Money conversations can bring up real reactions. Hearing someone talk about spending, saving, debt or saying no might leave you tense, relieved, defensive or hopeful. Instead of simply talking about those reactions, the group gives you an opportunity to notice and work with them in the moment.
There’s something powerful about being with other growth-oriented, courageous people who really understand—and who are also taking action on something that may have been bothering them for years. This isn’t a shame game. It’s a chance to experience the energy and exhilaration of moving forward together, sharing discoveries, celebrating progress and building hope and momentum along the way. Being part of a group also creates a natural sense of accountability to keep showing up for the changes you want to make.
And you never have to share more than you want to. Your personal financial details stay private, and you decide what parts of your experience you bring to the group. You can be fully part of the learning, energy and connection without exposing your finances.
I think this was designed with me in mind. Sign me up now!

Those services can be helpful for understanding your finances, tracking your money and knowing what to do next. This program includes the practical work of creating a financial plan, but the plan is only the beginning.
We support you through the real-life experience of living it, including the habits, emotions, relationships and nervous-system patterns that influence the financial choices you make every day. What happens as you live your plan helps you determine what needs attention and what kind of support will be most useful.
The goal isn’t to follow a plan perfectly. It’s to build confidence, create more choice and make progress toward your financial goals while enjoying the life you’re working hard to create.

That’s important information, not a failure. A financial plan can make perfect sense on paper and become much more complicated when it meets real life.
Christine and Isabel will help you look at what happened with curiosity rather than judgement. Sometimes the plan needs adjusting. Sometimes an old habit, emotion, relationship dynamic or nervous-system response is influencing the choices you’re making. Often, there is more than one thing going on.
The goal isn’t to make you comply with a plan. It’s to help you understand what’s happening, make thoughtful adjustments and become more confident making financial decisions as your life changes.
Knowing what you want to do doesn’t always make it easy to do it. Habits, fears and beliefs aren’t only things we think about; they can also be expressed through our behaviour and movement.
In the group sessions, Isabel will guide you through simple movements and small variations. As your nervous system experiences different possibilities, a habitual pattern can become a little less automatic. That matters when you’re making financial decisions because the old response no longer has to feel like the only response available.
This isn’t about making you “stick to a budget.” It’s about relating to your financial resources with greater awareness, choice and confidence.
No. The movements are small, gentle and exploratory. There’s no workout, stretching routine or movement you need to get right. We also won’t be teaching quick techniques to control or override your nervous system.
You’ll be guided through simple movements while paying attention to what you notice and exploring different ways of moving. No particular level of fitness, flexibility or movement experience is required.
You decide what you share. You won’t be expected to disclose your income, debt, savings, spending or other detailed financial information to the group.
You may choose to talk about your experience—what you’re finding difficult, what you’re noticing or what’s working—but you remain in control of how personal you want to get. Your detailed financial planning happens privately with Christine.
Isabel brings her counselling experience and trauma-informed, consent-based approach to the nervous-system work, creating space to explore what comes up without requiring you to disclose the details behind it.
Feeling embarrassed or ashamed about money is common, especially when you feel like you should have figured it out because you’re successful in many other parts of your life.
You can bring that experience into the work without having to explain or discuss it with the group. You can work with what you’re noticing without analyzing it publicly or sharing the story behind it.
Yes. You can still gain clarity about your own priorities, choices and patterns even if your partner doesn’t participate. You may not be able to make every shared financial decision on your own, but changing the way you understand and respond to money can still make a meaningful difference.
If your partner is open to participating, couples are welcome and encouraged to take part together. The program can help partners recognize their habitual reactions, communicate more clearly and make more intentional financial decisions together.
